Do you have a yard or do you live in an apartment? If you have a yard, pick a spot out of the way and get a length of some kind of wire fence. You will want a circle of about 3 to 4 feet in diameter. put some branches in the bottom and stat adding your materials. You can compost just about anything that isn't flesh ot fat. No oils or dairy, either.Grass clipping of course. bread, egg shells, all vegetales cooked or raw, paper and egg cartons(papier-mache), hair and laundry lint, etc. turn it evry month so that air will circulate. If you have earth worms they accelerate the process. It should be ready to start using in 3 to 4 months. The longer you wait the finer the final product will be. You MUST turn it or it will rot.If you have an apartment you can do the same in a container that is well aerated and just use you kitchen scraps but make sure you get some earthworms to help the process. I live in an apartment and I make my own potting soil this way .Helpful Reply -
