How do i get rid of a stubborn weed, common purslane?

Hello, Does anyone know how to get rid of common purslane? I keep pulling it out and it's trying to take over my veggie garden.Help! Melinda
Depending on where you live, I vote for natural mulch. If you have rubber, it can get very hot if left in direct sunlight and not good for plants, children or pets.
FYI... according to the Tv DIY garden guys .... "Lawn & Order" and "Yard Crashers".... natural mulch will have to be replaced every year.... where the recycled tire one.. won't
I like rubber mulch better, because it last longer and it comes without termites.
