when is the best time to plant asparagus in zone 7?
Hello, It may depend on your location and last frost. In my zone 7 around Mothers day.
End of March in the house
What zone are you in? Find out here:

Typically in the spring to early summer months to have continuous fruit throughout the growing season.
I am in zone 9 and already started my first batch of seeds. Will set out by end of February or beginning of March.
I also plant on or after Mothers Day. I am in Zone 5 in a Chicago suburb. But, if you know you have a threat of frost, you have to cover your plants or risk losing everything. I learned that lesson the hard way. Best of luck to you.
Wait until after the last frost. This spring printable may be helpful to guide your planting for that entire season.
