New Vintage Office Chairs

We wanted some office chairs that were going to really get noticed by our customers and guest So we went to bold and designed our own. Here are the results.
We started with two clear Lucite chairs that were big and comfortable.
We created a pattern using Painters tape So that we could add a graphical pattern as a little color to the finished product.
Once the tape was at it we masks off the rest of the chair so the scraping wouldn’t get all over to clear lucite.
Once we were done and the paint was dry we begin to Add the pages of a vintage comic to the back of the chair using deco podge.
Once all of the chair was covered with the pages from the comic book the back was painted to Seal the paper to the back of the chair, and to give it a clean look.
The whole project took about three days with drying time for paint and coating. We are super happy with how these came out. The finished product did exactly what we thought it would and has been a talking point in our office by just about everyone who visits.

Thank you. It was tedious and a little messy, but fun. I think it is something I will repeat for our other offices
