Sewing Machine Table Turned Desk

This desk started as a vintage sewing machine table, complete with the hole in the top for the sewing machine. I loved the hardware and brass tipped legs, but wasn't crazy about the finish or the hole. :)
i chose a beautiful navy blue for the body of the desk, to complement the warm brass accents. To see the gorgeous after, painted in mid-century modern style, visit my blog, Reinvented.
We replaced the "holy" top with a piece of solid aspen stained a beautiful warm hue. See the transformation at the link below.

Don't know how you found the project on Pinterest but good job.
Come to find out the above author of this article has discontinue using her blog site that's why nobody can find it.
Again thank you for your hard and delicate work so the rest of us can see the finished product.

I was thinking about the possibility of converting the “hole area” into a hideaway for your laptop. Just a thought mind you.
