i use old hollow core doors painted them one color and hinge together and set up to divid room did not hook to wall had furn on each side so no need -

book cases work as well, and fabric curtains hung from the ceiling are an option. . -

Buy a ceiling-mounted curtain rod and hang pretty sheets or a shower curtain. Much cheaper than buying fabric by the yard.
