What is the item that you are thinking of painting? Are they a inside or outside item? Whatever, it is inside, them be sure to tell the person in the paint dept., this answer. If it is outside, then use the outside paint. Hope this helps you. Best wishes, Judy. -

If you are able to remove a small piece of whatever paint you are looking to match, any paint store can computer match the color for you. If not, bring some of the store's paint swatches home and do your best to get a close match. -

most hardware and paint stores can colour match, look for an inconspicuous place to get a sample, it dies not have to be large. Behind light switches and receptacle covers are usually good places to get your sample from. -

If I'm trying to match something I either bring a piece of poster board painted with the color or a piece of trim, or drawer.
