Adding Colour and Pattern to a Painted Back Splash

It's a dilemma all renters have; what to do about the boring back splash in the kitchen. In my case, it's just a painted wall in a beige colour that does nothing to inspire one to spend time in the kitchen.
Here's an easy solution that's quick and can be removed just as fast.
Here's what my beverage corner looked like before. Pretty bland, right?
I saw these large-sized removable wall stickers at Dollar Tree and thought they might work to liven things up a bit. Each sticker sheet has six large images. I had to guesstimate how many sticker sheets I'd need to do all of the back splash area in my kitchen.
Make sure the wall is clean then just peel and stick. You can try to make a pattern of sorts with the flowers or just put them up randomly, as I've done. Leave a few inches in between each flower and use the leaves in these spaces.
These decals are easily removable and re-positionable, so you don't have to worry about getting it "wrong." Vinyl stickers can be wiped down with a damp cloth, so splatters shouldn't be a problem, either.
Here's what my beverage corner looks like now. I'm pleased with the results. The flower pattern isn't overwhelming but it brightens things up a bit. I'm going to finish the rest of the back splash the same way. And, if I get bored with the sunflowers, I can always choose another look. Family reaction has been mixed; my son thought I'd wallpapered
and liked the look, and my daughter thought is was just "alright." What do you think?

Looks cute! I also like the graphics with words...they hv them where you found those or at Home Depot and also online. My daughter wants to put up the ones her friends have. They are scrolling swirly font and have rap lyrics so it’s kind of twisted. -
