China Cabinet Up-cycle in CeCe Caldwell's Paints in Vintage White

by Hue St. Market
(IC: professional)
Tired of the plain, old oak look our client wanted a make-over to bring this piece out of storage. This was completed over a weekend - love the transformation!
By applying CeCe Caldwell's Paints Virginia Chestnut on the edges only, it sped up the distressing process! Only wipe off with a wet rag where the brown was put down under the white!
This was completed using only 4 oz size of Virginia Chestnut and less then a quart of Vintage White. The piece is sealed with Endurance
1st step was to apply the brown, Virginia Chestnut, and then after 24 hours seal it with Endurance. The Vintage White was applied next using 2 coats. Then the fun - distress using wet cloth to rub off white where desired. After 24 hours of dry time, sealed with Endurance.
This piece was hidden away
For an extra pop of color, Traverse City Cherry was added to the back of the inside and sealed with Endurance.
