Corner Hutch Message Center

I knew this corner hutch would be useful for something other than just displaying dishes. I like to make things as useful as possible. I was looking at Pinterest and home talk for ideas and just couldn't find the inspiration I was looking for. Then something clicked!
A message center!! First took off all cabinet fronts. I distressed the out side of hutch and cabinets in vintage white. Then I turned the front into a chalk board message center using a brown chalkboard paint I found a while back at a sale. Stenciled the board to give it a little more interest. Then glued cork onto the other side of glass and stenciled a pretty bird for fun. All in all I think this came out pretty good.
