I really hated that the garbage can had to be visible at the entrance to the kitchen, so I set out to create a way to hide it, while adding a little farmhouse style charm!

I used this freebie dresser to create a cabinet to hide the unsightly kitchen garbage can
I removed the 3 larger bottom drawers and tapped out the cross pieces with a hammer.
I painted the cabinet frame and two smaller drawers white. I added cute drawer pulls and a curtain made from a fabric scrap.
Plenty of space for the garbage can, plus extra bags, etc.

After...cute camouflage for the garbage can and some extra counter space as well!

Very Farm house!!! I remember those days at my Grandma's.

After two hurricane floods ruined two sets of cabinets . I made curtains like these for the bath room and laundry room . . easy to fix . if there is another flood and cheaper than press wood cabinets.
