Can you think of any furniture pieces you would love to give a refresh, but you don’t know where to start?
This is my second project using Dixie Belle paint products, and I cannot rave about them enough.
My first project was this white chalk paint side table with a whitewashed tabletop finish!
This time I refinished a set of vintage bistro chairs I have had sitting on my front porch for years.
My favorite part? The super-easy crackle effect I got on the white paint to give that old-world vintage paint finish.
I couldn’t believe how easy it was! These products would be a great gift box idea for any DIY lover on your Christmas list by the way!
Let’s get this party started.
- 100/220 grit sandpaper
- Orbital hand sander
- Dixie Belle Best D ang White Wax
- Dixie Belle Applicator Pad
- Dixie Belle Crackle Effect
- Dixie Belle Chip Brush (or any cheap brush)
- Dixie Belle Silk All-In-One Paint in Saltwater
- Satin clear cloat spray to seal and finish
Be sure to allow the crackle effect to dry for at least an hour prior to painting!
Brush quickly and don’t go back over the paint as it will mess up the crackle effect.
