Restoration Hardware Dining Table Look
I feel like this is the most sought after look of 2019/2020 for furniture.
it’s timeless and I probably won’t have to worry about it going out of style for the next couple of years, 10 years at least..
I got this table off of Marketplace, whole set with 4 chairs for $300. The chairs alone sell for over $200 each..so, SUPER WORHT IT!
The table comes in different finishes, one of them is the exact one I wanted, but what I found was the brown/reddish color.
This is the same table on the website..
I used a off brand stripper from Home Depor and the whole table turned white and dried up, it was scary and for a moment I thought I had ruined the whole thing...
I went back and bought Citristrip to re-apply and start over.
That’s me.. I did a lot of scrapping and brushing to take off the finish from the wood grain.
after I finished stripping all the stain, I lightly white washed it and waxed with a light aged stain.
This project was very fun and honestly one that I don’t want to repeat for a while because stripping furniture is just a pain..
