How can I make my older kitchen cabinets 'soft closing' inexpensively?

I have the soft close cabinets and drawers in my kitchen. I really like them. I think it is in the hinges, so I would go to your local home improvement store and ask them about the what you need. It may mean replacing the hinges.Helpful Reply -

Inexpensive is a matter of perspective. You need to change the hardware (hinges and drawer slides) on your cabinets. Visit your hardware and home improvement stores and see who has the best quality available. The beauty of diy is that if you are unable to purchase all the hardware at one time, you can purchase as funds become available and do the project over time. I had no idea a product was made to "add" this to existing cabinets until I ran across your question and began to check it out...I may want some of these!!!!https://www.google.com/search?q=adding+soft+close+to+drawers&rlz=1C1GGRV_enUS751US751&oq=adding+soft+close+to+drawers&aqs=chrome..69i57j0l2.10671j1j7&sourceid=chrome&ie=UTF-8Helpful Reply -

P.S. I forgot to attach the ones for doors...it seems these go on the inside so you would have to touch up where the old hinges were...???https://www.google.com/search?q=add+soft+closing+to+cabinet+doors&rlz=1C1GGRV_enUS751US751&oq=add+soft+closing+to+cabinet+doors&aqs=chrome..69i57j0l2.13406j1j9&sourceid=chrome&ie=UTF-8Helpful Reply -
