Need to put the shine on my counter top!

Can you tell me how I can put the luster look back into my counter top? It is 22 years old and still in good shape, it's just dull looking. Thank you for your help!

All Laminate is, is a plastic type finish placed on layers of special paper and epoxies. Once the plastic surface dulls other then using car polish there is little left to do other then change it or paint it. .

Polyurethane will not stick to the surface very well. Depending upon how much natural light hits the counter will depend how long it may take until it yellows.

what about using rejuvenate or reviverar by minwax its makes hardwood shine like new.I can't find anything to make my unglazed porcelain tile floor look good I believe it is stained in the tiles and looks smeared looking

Try Jubilee Kitchen Wax. A couple coats should help shine them back up.
