Re- do high glass kitchen sand, should I sand all the way to the wood?

Are you going to prime before painting ? If you are, then you just have to rough them up, clean them well and prime before painting .Helpful Reply -

If you want to avoid major sanding, just clean them well, lightly sand and use chalk paint. It sticks to anything and requires little prep.Helpful Reply -

You only have to sand until the shiny is gone, not down to the bare wood. There is a product on the market that you paint on and takes the place of sandpapering but I must admit I've never used it. Inquire about it at your local hardware store.Helpful Reply -
