Creative Cheap Easy Curtain Hack

I have a big long window over my kitchen sink. Even though I have blinds on them I still like having a curtain too. A valance is the best size but sometimes they are hard to find.
We were having people over for July 4th. I wanted a new look. I had just bought a few antique blue Mason jars. So wanted to incorporate that color & a little Farm house look. I had to run through Target & grab a few things (which is hard to do) one day. I ran through the kitchen section looking at placemats, tablerunners & dish towels. I found these cute vintage farm house look towels for $3.50 each.
I just folded each towel in half, in a triangle. And just laid over the curtain rod.
Then I decided it needed a little something. So I took twine, gathered the curtain in the middle towards the bottom. Wrapped the twine around it prob 2inches high. Then just tied a knot in the middle and trimmed the ends.
Finished project.
A cute little update that didn't cost much or take much time. So when I'm tired of it again I won't feel bad about finding something different, new & affordable!!
