Cute DIY Polka Dotted Curtains

Over the past month I have been searching for the perfect set of curtains for my daughter's room. The money saver in me was not trying to spend a lot of money. I did have some all white curtains on had but they were pretty boring. Well after shopping and realizing I didn't want to spend the money I decided to update the curtains I already had.
My daughter and I spent a couple hours this past weekend turning these all white curtains into blue and pink polka dotted curtains. It only cost me $4.00 to update these curtains with some browsing through Home Depot's oops section and using coupons at Hobby Lobby.

DIY polka dotted curtains for only $4.00! I love how they turned out.
I love the varying weights of the polka dots. It adds texture and a personal touch to the curtains.

Here's how we did it, taped sections for the colors, dipped these sponges into paint and dotted them onto the curtains.
