Hi you! I'm so excited to see my fireplace transformed. It looks amazing and watching as I transformed the brick was so rewarding.
I used Valspar white flat paint. I mixed half part water with half part paint. I brushed on and wiped with a tshirt cloth Until I got the color and look I wanted.
This is before. We weren't to fond of the dark brick. We like light and bright.
Just taped off the mantle and surround.
So incredibly happy with the end result. I cant wait to decorate. It was an cheap fix and made the room look incredible. Like I previously said in our updated kitchen post, we are loving the brightness that it adds to our home. When we purchased the home, it was dark and dreary. We knew a little paint and new carpet would do wonders for the look. So we got busy! Painting and new floors and things such as that. We have a lot more in store for our home. We are taking it one room at a time. Slowly and surely we will make it ours. Stay tuned for much more. I have quite a fee before and afters to show you.
Enjoyed the project?
