Bookshelf? Dresser? My DIY Bookshelf Dresser!

I'm sort of a commitment-phobe when it comes to decorating. But I loved all the ikea spice racks used as forward facing bookshelves that I saw all over the blogosphere. I just couldn't decide where to hang them in my house! So, I hung them on my son's dresser.
Using 8 $4 spice racks, I created a mulitpurpose piece of furniture for my son's room. It holds his clothes AND his books - a win-win if you ask me!
This is the official "before." Just a plain pine dresser I found at a garage sale.
Supplies: tape measure, level, #6 x 1 inch wood screws, drill bits/screw bit, drill.
The spice racks had hardware for hanging at each end. I measured the distance between the two hangars, marked the spots on the dresser where I needed screws, pre-drilled the holes and inserted screws. I left the screws sticking out about 1/2 inch to hang the spice racks. I found that the two screws had to be in EXACTLY the right place in order for this to work. After some trial and error, I had all 8 shelves hung in about an hour!
