So as newly weds we wanted a coffee table for our apartment but they ran about $150-$200 at furniture stores. We decided to DIY our own coffee table for only $60! I love how it has storage units, it's perfect for small spaces!
I have an entire YouTube video on how we made this and the link is at the bottom, please check it out!

So we started off by sanding the wooden crates to make sure there was a smooth surface for the paint!
Then we measured and cut the long piece of wood in 4 equal parts! (These 4 equal parts will later be nailed together and will be the base of our table)
Then we begin to paint the wooden crates and the parts of the base! (2 coats, letting each coat dry before adding the next one)
After everything is dry, screw 2 wooden crates together using the screws and a drill. *make sure the two crates are facing outward* After you screw 2 & 2 crates together, then you can screw the 4 crates together!
Then nail the base together! (4 equal pieces of wood)
this is what the base should look like when it's all screwed together! Now screw the base to the bottom of the crates!
This is what the center will look like. I did not want a "hole" so i added these little hooks, cut out a piece of cardboard (painted it brown) and added a mirror & a bamboo! It made it look way better!
this is what the middle looked like!
FINISHED PRODUCT! $60
