Trash Can Halloween Stands

I have a few of these Ikea trash bins throughout the house and last summer I decided to use one as a stand for the ferns on either side of the front door.
As I got ready to change our summer plants to pumpkins, I decided that the trash can looked like a Halloween candy corn!
The trash can has rings around it that make it very easy to paint and I used a roller to coat it and transform the trash bin to a sweet treat.
Here's the trash can before and after!
When we carve our pumpkins we will be able to display them for trick or treaters to see from the road.
