Lightning-Fast Sofa Stain Fixes

If your "no food on the couch" rule never seems to stick, try this fast, easy sofa stain fix:
Grab a handful of paper towels and blot up the stain as quickly as possible. Don't rub it into the fabric, because that will make the stain even worse! If blotting doesn't work, or the stain has been there for a long time, cover the area with baking soda and let it sit for fifteen minutes. Then, vacuum up the powder.

I have never tried baking soda but, have used salt. It draws the moisture up. Probably wouldn't work on an old stain.
