A thrifted coffee table got a shabby chic make over with the use of a drop cloth. Durable and comfortable enough to be enjoyed on cool fall evenings.....
All the fabric came from a single drop cloth! Easy to remove for washing.
Thrifted for $10. It just need a little paint, a cushion and some pillows. Oh, and ruffles.
Upholstery webbing gives a lovely rustic detail.

This is very pretty. However, I have a question. How do you keep the coffee table from rotting? I have never had any luck in putting anything made out of wood outdoors especially pressed wood. Even cedar benches look awful in a year. This might work in an arid area like Arizona but not here in the humid south east If would work for an indoor piece if one had the space.
