who cares about the trends? they come, they go. very quickly in this day and age. if you like it, do it. if you try to keep up with them 6 weeks from now it will be "out dated" and you'll do something different. if you have the budget for it, its your money. I don't have the money.
I can sympathize. I have a very expensive 4 poster bed from Pulaski Furniture that I have never been able to find matching bedroom pieces for. I don't understand why Pulaski Furniture stopped carrying all the beautiful carved furniture. Now they sell the same boring stuff that everyone else sells. It is a waste of time contacting them. All they will tell you is that your piece has been discontinued and they have no idea where you might find one. Your only hope is to start looking at auctions and antique stores in the area of Pulaski and Galax Virginia.
