Tackling an intimidating empty wall... Decorating tips!

I had gotten rid of a GIANT 5 piece entertainment center that was occupying a 17 foot wall that ran down the middle of our 'great room'. Once it was gone I was left with a lot of empty blankness. I did a little 'at home' shopping and reused pieces from around the house to make this area feel more like a living space and less like a forgotten hallway. I love how inviting it is now! I loved this bench and almost sold it because I didn't have any room for it... until now!
This was a dresser rehab that I turned into a beautiful sideboard.
