My Very Own Tool Purse - Because We Should Be Stylish DIYers

I made a tool bag from an old bin and an old purse
I had a metal organizer bin that I got at a thrift sale for less than $1. It was scratched and I thought I would wrap it in rope or paint it...someday. So I was joking with my boyfriend that I would have to carry the new drill he bought me for Christmas (yeah, he's awesome) in my purse because my tool bag was full. Then I was saying I needed another tool bag... then came a tool purse! As soon as we got home I grabbed the bin and a few old purses. This purse held the bin perfectly!
I did not need to glue or anything - fits snug as a bug.
Now I have 2 tool caddies to hold my stuff that I want more portable. There are pockets and sleeves in both to keep me organized and the strap is a perfect carrying handle. I think I will make some for my family - the dollar store desk organizers should work great for insides.
The pockets work great for small things like electrical tape and drill bits.
