Repurposed Muffin Pan Organzier

Some blogging friends and I challenged each other to use an old or thrifted item and repurpose it for a home office and / or organizational piece.
I found this rusty muffin pan at the local thrift store and knew exactly what I was going to do!
I gave it a coat of sealer (due to the rust) then a coat of Annie Sloan Old White Chalk Paint. It's perfect for all my small office necessities.

I was just ready to throw away my muffin tin....perfect timing

I have done this and found one more step. I put yogurt cups in the muffin so I can lift them when I need several of what I had in the cup (i.e., push pins, rubber bands, large paper clips, etc.) This so easy because my storage is under my writing table.
