What is the best flooring for an RV?

Vinyl planks, because they give with the movement of the RV. I say planks, but you could do squares. Otherwise, you’re stuck with carpet, which makes more work in the long run. And who wants more work when you’re supposed to be enjoying your RV?

We yanked the carpet out of ours and put in sheet vinyl. Less seams = less problems. Easy to maintain, clean, looks fantastic, takes a beating. We have a few washable area rugs for cold mornings and for the dogs. Our neighbors put in the squares, but it gets very hot here in summer and when stored, the seams curled up and it looked liked alien tulips growing in their RV! Funniest thing, but they were not happy, but you live and learn. So climate where you store your RV does make a difference.

The new RV'S are using vinyl plank floors.

Use small sections such as peel and stick tiles (this allows for easy change later if you want) Or use laminate boards in vinyl. These are easy to install, easy to change, and are flexible for all the moving an RV gets in travel.
