Rope Wrapped Chain for a Porch Swing

There's nothing better on a summer day than to sit on a screened porch and swing. This project takes less than an hour and adds such a pretty touch! And the best thing is...no more pinched fingers!
The time is here to sit on those swings on our porches...with a sweet tea in our hands!
And to take your chain from this...
to this...
All you need is this! And a ladder and a hot glue gun. This project takes less than one hour, but is a really pretty detail!
Tie a knot at the top of the rope and begin wrapping the chain.
Tie another knot at the bottom. I then added hot glue to the knots to secure them.
And now the swing is ready for swinging...with no pinched fingers!
Enjoyed the project?

You need to put hot glue on ends of rope to keep it from fraying
