Painting a Unique Picnic Table

by Deltagardener
I am having fun painting this old picnic table for our community garden. Check out the photos to see just how I did this.
First flower painted!
I started by sketching a design with a pencil. Then I used complimentary colours to paint the details.
Second flower rolls off the edge just a bit.
I loved adding the polka dots. It just enhances the whimsical nature of the flowers.
This is as far as I got last summer.
By end of summer, the dew arrived too soon to continue the painting.
Time to complete this table!
I wanted to finish the table & get it moved to our community garden.
My flowers are brighter this year.
I gave up on sketching the flowers first and just freehanded it.
Almost done
Now I have a couple more small flowers to add on the end and its ready to go.
