Homemade Bird Feeder

I've been thinking about making bird feeders and bird feeder stations and have many ideas. Here is one of them, made with 2 plastic water bottles, a broken frame, and a suet feeder from Walmart.
Enjoyed the project?

How cute is this! I'm going to do this with an old window frame and hang it on our pergola so it will look like a window hanging in mid air. Very nice decorative way to reuse a broken picture frame and the added detail on the frame looks so pretty. May also staple in one corner a small silk flower arrangement for added visual punch. The white paint makes it look like it would fit in with any country décor or painted gold would fit well in with Victorian décor. -

I looked at suet feeder at Valu when I got suet cake on sale for $.99 . It was$5.99! So I got a wire basket at Dollar Tree and it looks like yours. I am planning to attach to wall with bottom of basket facing out with small nail at top, and tapped over, and another at bottom tapped partway over, so I can turn it and refill. Not sure if it will work, but hope so!!🐤🐦️🐥🕊️

Very cute. Are you still able to refill the basket with the suet when it is hung like that?
