Metal Wall Decor Upgrade

I've had this metal wall decor for sometime now. It has hung on the outside of my house for years. I wanted to do something different with it and came up with this super easy idea.
As you can see it is quite weathered and is in need of a paint job.
I had this turquoise blue left over from another project. I would like to point out that we were in lockdown when I completed this project so only essential stores and garden centers were open so everything I am using for this project I had on hand... except the flowers. I cleaned up the wall decor and prepped it for painting.
Here it is painted. It looks better already!
Next I had 3 of these pots I had saved from a previous plant stand. They already have a hole drilled in them near the top. You can drill your own holes in plastic pots. I was going to paint them but I kind of liked how they looked.
Next I took some heavy duty garden wire and cut 3 pieces around four inches long. You can also use small S hooks. Again no stores open!!
Using the wire , I attached the pots to my wall decor.
I bought 3 containers of these yellow wave petunias at Home Depot garden center. They were almost the same size as my pots so all I had to do is drop them in and add a little soil at the top.
Here are my three pots with my flowers planted. I had a little butterfly hook so I attached it to my wall decor.
I love how this turned out. It brings a punch of color to my front step. Oh and by the way..... Stores opened Friday!!

This has given me an idea on how to make good use of a 9 section, no-glass, window frame I have hanging on my house.
Are you by any chance living in Ontario? We are finally open... at least partially. I am in Ottawa.
