Have a hill that is hard to mow-any fast growing plants to cover it?

We have part of our yard that is on a slope and many years ago planted variegated ivy through out the area....now it is completely covered with ivy and we just trim around the edges if it gets out of bounds of the space...it does not work overnite but eventually it will cover the area.Helpful Reply -
