How long will fish last in a small froze garden pond?

How deep is pond? If pond is not deep enough with freezing temps, pond can freeze solid. Fish will die. -

Last year my pond froze over.All but 4 surrived. This year I am bubbling but it is still colder than last year. Pond is maybe 3 feet deep.( Located in Michigan on Lake Michigan shore for GPS.) If your fsh are goldfish they are basically carp. They are very hardy. -

Pond needs to be deep enough not too freeze solid. You also need to keep an air hole in the ice to let the gases escape. An air bubbler will add oxygen to the water, and help keep a hole open. If none of this is possible, your fish won't survive -

you can purchase a stock floating water heater at your local feed store.
