Where is the border, along drive, next to house, under bright sun, part shade, full shade? are you wanting to mix up every year (annuals), or want to come back every year(perennials). Take some graph paper and layout your desired shape, then go to the magazine rack and look at garden books, sit down and look at the pictures to find desired effect, If you want to do Perennials, check with your >>> localHelpful ReplyDiana Brewer on Jun 07, 2017

Alyssium is great and it has a delightful scent to it and comes in pink, white or deep purple or a light purple. Its great and very attractive as a border.Helpful ReplyNancy Turner on Jun 10, 2017
Are you talking about plants as a border or rock, wood, etc.?Helpful ReplyNancy Turner on Jun 11, 2017
I used the small three quarter moon shaped bricks around my yardlight post so I could plant around it. They worked well, but grass does tend to grow up between them. I either pull them or the dog we take out front with us sometimes eats them as part of her salad that she enjoys. Bricks are probably the easiest to care for since they won't deteriorate over time, and other than being heavy, you can move them to change the shape or size of the garden easier.Helpful ReplySign Up to Answer
