I purchased two separate lights. One chandelier and one floor lamp. I dismantled the chandelier so that only the circle bracket (for lack of better word) holding the chandy arms was the one piece I wanted. I also had hubby pull/yank all the electrical wiring out of the floor lamp
Hubby and I screwed the chandelier disc into the top of the floor lamp. (more detail & pics on my blog)
I spray painted the entire thing brown with krlyon spray paint
I added floor leg plastic protectors for candle holders.

I wonder if you can get citronella tapered candles? They would be great for keeping away the bugs.
