The Life of a Scarecrow

How about a garden Scarecrow REDO!
This Scarecrow has seen many a fall season and was a little ragged, even for a scarecrow. I think (she) will now stay in the garden year round.
I bought the Scarecrow at War Eagle Craft Show, but this Scarecrow would be easy to make. I repainted the face and hot-glued rope on for braids.
Then cutting a hole in the crotch of the pink pants I put the horizontal board through the pants. Then the pink shirt on the vertical board. I stuffed the pants and shirt with leftover foam and stapled the pants on the board and . . . .
the foam under the shirt on the board. Pretty simple.
The picture from 2008 shows that at one time the Scarecrow was stuffed with hay.
Look at the change, and how about that purse!
