Yes, you heard that right, Plantinis! Everyone needs this addition to their patio, deck or yard planters, it won’t take long to make them but they’ll have a lasting effect all Summer! 🍸

I’ve been sticking lights and candles in my plants for years, when the sun goes down and you light them it’s instantly cozy and so pretty

You’ll need plant stakes, I got these at the Job Lot store, I’ve also seen them at home improvement stores and garden shops, they’re used to secure long stemmed plants like Peonies, martini and/or wine glasses and tea candles are what I like to use because the won’t leave wax residue and they float!

You probably can’t tell a huge difference but I chose to spray paint these black, I liked the look better than the green

You can use martini glasses, wine glasses or a combination of both, no need for fancy here, use dollar store ones or thrift a few, there’s always plenty at the thrift store.

When the stakes are dry place the glass into the opening at the top of the stake, the ring will secure the glass in place

Watch this little video that’ll show you how to put these together which just consists of putting the stake in the planter, placing the glass on the coil on top of stake, then adding your candle, make it a floating one with water or without!

I’d do it for company, or a special occasion. However, the idea of keeping wine glasses clean for outside use does not sit well with a person who’s got too many things to do already. lol
