Solar Powered Mushroom Lights

by Maria
(IC: homeowner)
I bought this Flower vase for one dollar each! And I also bought plastic dish ( mushroom tops) for a dollar each. Took the top off the of a solar powered light and set it on top of the vase. I then placed the mushroom top with double stick tape on top of the light .
Be sure and place them where they will get plenty of sunlight during the day .Then you can enjoy them at night as a glow the beautiful different colors .
Don't they look beautiful?
Hope this picture shows you how easy and inexpensive it is to make this . project . As you can see at the bottom of the vase I added some colored glass beads to help weight it down .
Enjoyed the project?

Oh, good gosh! I think I've seen those little bud vases at the Dollar Tree. Very novel idea. Thanks for sharing. -

Cute! Take glass paint markers or Sharpies and "color" the bowl on top. Gorgeous in daylight or dark. -
