Natural Bug Repellent Solid Lotion

Get relief from bugs, including mosquitoes, naturally with these easy to make solid lotion bars. You can put them in a tin and take them with you without worrying about spilling. They aren't greasy thanks to arrowroot powder.
You'll need
- 1/2 cup grapeseed oil
- 1/2 cup beeswax
- 1/4 cup coconut oil
- 1/4 cup shea butter
- 1 teaspoon arrowroot powder
- 2 teaspoons Bug Repellent Essential Oil Blend
- Mica (optional)
Set up a double boiler with a glass measuring cup in a pan of water. You don't want to heat this over direct heat. Heat the beeswax, grapeseed oil, mango butter, and coconut oil until completely melted, about 20 minutes.
Remove from heat and add the mica if desired. Sprinkle the arrowroot powder over the melted lotion and stir well.
Add the essential oils when it drops below 180 degrees.
Carefully pour into the succulent mold. Let sit until hard, about two hours.
You can use them immediately.
I keep mine in a little tin. I use washi tape to cover it to decorate it. The tin helps protect it from leaking all over.
You can take this in your purse or bag without worrying about it spilling.
It can melt in high heat. It's fine to use if it melts or if it rehardens after melting.
