If you know where the eggs are, just kill them. Vinegar will do the trick. I highly doubt the second story is 200 feet off the ground. Get a measuring tape. Walk it off on level ground . . . Unless it is on stilts or caissons.Helpful Reply -

I would say it's time for the professionals. You probably don't have time for DIY remedies. A pro can determine the species and act quickly to stop the spread. Hopefully they aren't carpenter ants because they can infest and eat away the wood in the walls and framework of your house. Best of Luck!Helpful Reply -

We had ants VERY bad when we bought our house. We bought Bifen off of Amazon after a neighbor recommended it. It's a professional use concentrate and it was AMAZING! You mix it up according to the directions in a gallon spray bottle and spray the yard. We usually spray once a year in spring and we don't see any ants at all anymore. It is also good for a ton of bugs, spiders and other icky things. Good luck!Helpful Reply -
