I've seen restaurants use a clear plastic bag full of water with a shiny copper penny inside hung around an outdoor patio area. There weren't any flies around while we ate.Helpful Reply -

I have a Blacklight flashlight (Amazon). when it is dark outside shine the blacklight on the plant. The tomato worms will look iridescent and can be easily seen. Pick them off and destroy. :)Helpful Reply -

If you are speaking of cut worms, whenever you plant a tomato, put a popsicle stick beside the stem in the ground.Helpful Reply -

You can use companion planting to help with this problem. It is easily found on the web. One plant protects another. And it really works, I had a garden about 6' by 10' and by companion planting got enough to feed my family of 4 and plenty to can to boot. No one believed me not even my husband but they believed me later. Now I tell all my friends about it and they are amazed at the crops they are bringing in.Helpful Reply -
