How do I get rid of rhubarb?

I had a small clump started by the corner of our she'd that started getting bigger and bigger....and bigger. Chopped it out of ground, but, afraid it will grow back.

Providing there are no other plants around suffocate it out with a heavy black plastic. -

Why would you want to get rid of it? Give it away if you don't like Strawberry-Rhubarb pie! -

Yes, give it away, many folks love Rhubarb. I have 4 Plants , I love the huge leaves, and I give away what I don't use, my friends love it.I turn the cut leaves over and use it to block weeds, may add mulch on top of that.If you want to get rid of it you have to dig up the roots. -
