Make a mixture of white vinegar and water 50/50 a dab of soap and a dab of salt. -

Sprinkle with salt or spray with vinegar -

Patricia's suggestion is the best, The salt will absolutely stop anything from growing there again so make sure you don't get the spray on your lawn. it will last much, much longer than boiling water - which is good but temporary. -

My choice is 20Mule Team Borax powder from the laundry detergent section of your store. Use it dry, and sweep it into the cracks between the stones
