How do I get sticker weeds out of my rose bushes

I have sticker weeds in my rose bush Garden I've tried everything to get rid of them I take them up and they come back anybody got any clues on how to get rid of them without hurting my roses

Suppress them with newspapers, cardboard or landscape fabric. Place mulch over the suppression material. Done! -

If you cannot pull them smother them out with newspapers,cardboard heavy landscape fabric and mulch -

You are going to have to put on some very good gloves and be sure your arms are covered (they make gloves that cover your hands and arms) and dig them out by hand. I am facing the same problem with poison ivy. Anything you use to kill them will kill your rose and if you leave any roots they will grow back. -

Cut them back. Then use Landscaping cloth and cut it to go around your roses. Overlap and put something to keep them covered. This will allow your roses to thrive but will stop anything from coming up.Then in about February, sprinkle preemergence all around your roses to keep any seeds from coming up!!! -
