How do you keep free roaming goats from eating up your garden?

Serious question. LOL I live on a small Caribbean island where the goats and their kids free roam. They eat everything, even shorter palm trees.

Try liquid fence! Might have to order online considering that you live on an island where you might not have a Home Depot or Lowes. lol. We use it to keep many animals away from plants. Great for deterring deer and rabbits...I'm sure it would work on goats. ha..stinks bad but works!
The only way to keep them out is a barrier fence. Pound stakes or metal pipe around the garden and wrap with garden screening.
Have you read about plants that deter them? I should have had that in the question.
