There are some pot friendly plants as well, like citronella and lemongrass that may help. Depending on the size of your pool you would probably need several larger plants.Helpful Reply -

If the water in the pool is circulating, the pool is not the problem. Look for other areas where water pools or stands and use drainage to get rid of it. Even unused pots will store plenty of water for mosquitoes to breed. Check for anything that may be causing the water to stand.Helpful Reply -
