How to keep rabbits out of planters and flowers?

    You can lay blood meal around the planters. The smell freaks them out. They'll stay away.

    also shaved irish spring soap! grate it and sprinkle it around, they hate that
    smell too!

    Rabbits love just about anything that you put out in gardens or flowers boxes. They absolutely went crazy for marigolds on my patio year after year so I went to hanging baskets rather than fight the little darlings. We seem to forget that we are invading their territory not the other way around.

    I'm currently fighting pigeons, snails and slugs on petunias, lettuces and beans, with slug pellets and sequins on thread slung between sticks.

    Add shredded Irish Spring bar soap. The do so will not harm plants . Happy blooms!
