I love Lilly of the Valley but they have completely overtaken my garden. they are in between all the plants and ivy (that is a family strain going back 100 years!). How can I get rid of this so I can see my original garden again? Each year it gets worse.

    Dig really deep. And diligently.

You can try spraying, or more safely, painting the leaves with a killer. But be forewarned that there root system is very deep and efficient.
If I had a magic cure I would have used it.

I know. They take over and destroy all in their path.

Roundup now comes in a stick form like deodorant. But I prefer paintbrush. Crinkle the leaves a little so they have an open wound.
Gloves, mask and patience. You’ll likely have to treat twice.
